Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Location: Washington
Type of Facility: Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts per week
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Treat both inpatient and outpatient cases
- Document patient progress and identify areas of concern
- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure trust in treatment plans
- Utilize Meditech EHR for inpatient documentation and Web PT for outpatient records
- Work with state-of-the-art equipment, including a Hydro Worx pool for aquatic therapy
- Collaborate with a team of 13 PTAs and 14 OTAs
- Adapt to a flexible schedule, with shifts typically running from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday-Thursday and 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Fridays
Requirements:
- Active Washington State license or Compact license
- BLS certification
- New graduates considered, but 2-3 years of experience preferred for higher compensation
