Job Title: Operating Room Nurse (OR)

Job Location: Washington

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 8 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary OR circulator for various surgical procedures

- Assist with general surgery, podiatry, colonoscopy, and endoscopy cases

- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during procedures

- Collaborate with the surgical team, including one other RN, surgeon, and scrub tech

- Ensure proper patient care and safety throughout the perioperative process

- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient record management

- Participate in on-call rotations as required

- Assist in maintaining OR equipment and supplies

- Provide patient education and support pre- and post-operatively

- Adapt to the needs of a critical access facility with 8 ER beds

Requirements:

- Active Washington state RN license

- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

- Minimum 1 year of OR circulator experience

- Experience with general surgery, podiatry, and endoscopic procedures
