Job Description

Job Title: Pharmacist

Job Location: Alaska

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 12 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Fill approximately 125 prescriptions per day

- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and order processing

- Collaborate with one other pharmacist and the Pharmacy Director

- Work alongside pharmacy technicians

- Ensure accurate medication dispensing and patient counseling

- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives

- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients

Requirements:

- Current Alaska Pharmacist license

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a pharmacist

- Hospital experience preferred, but retail experience considered

- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
