Job Title: Pharmacist
Job Location: Florida
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off rotation with varying shift times:
- 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM
- 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Restock Pyxis medication dispensing systems
- Perform general and IV compounding
- Conduct hourly rounds to units for medication deliveries
- Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and facility policies
- Maintain accurate inventory and medication records
- Provide drug information and consultation to healthcare providers as needed
Requirements:
- Active Florida Pharmacy Registration
- Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in IV compounding (preferred)
- Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
