Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Location: Arkansas

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Late April

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient evaluations (1 hour) and treatments (1 hour)

- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs

- Delegate responsibilities to PTAs when necessary

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation throughout the day

- Float between outpatient (90%) and inpatient (10%) settings

- Treat a diverse caseload including orthopedic, sports medicine, neurological, spinal, and stroke patients

- Work with adult and geriatric populations, with minimal pediatric cases

- Manage a patient ratio of 8-10 patients per day

- Utilize Evident (CPSI) EMR system

- Opportunity to learn and perform Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) and Aquatic Therapy (training provided)

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

- Arkansas State Licensure (4-6 weeks to obtain)

- BLS certification
