Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Location: California
Type of Facility: Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Early February
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to 6-8 patients daily
- Work in both inpatient and SNF settings
- Treat a variety of conditions, including wound care and sports injuries
- Collaborate with a team of 3 Physical Therapists and several PTAs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR system
- Participate in patient care planning and goal setting
- Implement and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs
Requirements:
- Valid California Physical Therapy license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Current BCLS certification
- Experience in inpatient and SNF settings preferred
