Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Location: California
Type of Facility: Outpatient Clinic
Length of Assignment: 26 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and supervise patient treatment in accordance with physician referrals
- Treat 10-12 patients per shift
- Review patient programs and progress, making recommendations to physicians regarding continuation or discontinuation of therapy
- Work collaboratively with PTAs and clinic staff
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for accurate and timely documentation
- Provide care primarily to middle-aged and older adult patients (39 years and older)
- Adapt to a busy clinic environment with 4-8 PTs on staff
Requirements:
- Current California Physical Therapist license
- New graduates or those with outpatient experience are welcome to apply
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR system preferred
