Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Location: California

Type of Facility: Outpatient Facility

Length of Assignment: 26 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Evaluate, plan, and supervise patient treatments in accordance with physician referrals

- Review patient programs and progress, making recommendations to physicians regarding continuation or discontinuation of physical therapy

- Manage a caseload of 10-12 patients per shift

- Collaborate with PTAs and clerical staff during shifts

- Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation

- Provide care primarily to middle-aged adults (39-64 years) and older adults (64+ years)

- Adapt treatment plans to meet individual patient needs and goals

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy techniques and best practices


Requirements:

- Current California Physical Therapist license

- Outpatient experience preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
