Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Location: North Carolina

Type of Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Manage a caseload of skilled nursing patients, currently around 24 patients split between 2 therapists

- Conduct patient admissions and evaluations

- Provide continued treatments and increase treatment minutes

- Complete Medicare/Medicaid paperwork

- Participate in telehealth services as needed

- Collaborate with 2 PTAs, PRN telehealth PT, and PRN weekend PT

- Utilize Point Click Care and Rehab Optima EMR systems

- Assist with Life Engagement activities in the Alzheimer's unit

- Help manage elopement risks for patients with Alzheimer's

Requirements:

- Current North Carolina Physical Therapist license

- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred

- BLS certification preferred

- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid paperwork and regulations
