Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Location: Oregon

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide physical therapy services for outpatient cases, including general orthopedics and post-operative rehabilitation

- Conduct gait and balance exercises

- Treat patients with various conditions including weakness and neurological issues

- Work with patients of all ages, primarily adults (60%) and pediatrics (25%)

- Collaborate with a team including general surgeons, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physical therapy assistants

- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation

- Adapt to the needs of a critical access facility

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members


Requirements:

- 5 years of experience preferred (flexible)

- Current Oregon state Physical Therapy license

- Strong skills in outpatient and sports medicine rehabilitation

- Experience with post-operative care
