Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Location: Texas

Type of Facility: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility / Acute Rehabilitation Unit

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately 

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct gait training and transfer training for patients

- Develop and implement therapeutic exercise programs

- Participate in discharge planning and family education

- Work with a patient ratio of 1:8-10

- Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation

- Operate various equipment

- Collaborate with a team of 14-16 PTs per shift

- Adhere to all safety protocols and healthcare regulations

Requirements:

- Current Texas PT License

- BLS Certification

- At least 1 year of experience
