Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Location: Washington
Type of Facility: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Mid April
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients referred for physical therapy
- Direct and assist patients in strength and flexibility exercises
- Implement programs for muscle re-education, transfers, and balance training
- Provide gait training, pain relief, and orthotic/prosthetic use instruction
- Utilize Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals
- Adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of outpatient experience (1+ years inpatient experience preferred)
- Valid Washington state license or compact license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
