Job Description

Job Title: Primary Care Nurse

Job Location: Massachusetts

Type of Facility: Outpatient Community Health Center

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Late April

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:45pm and other similar shifts

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct physical examinations

- Provide care for patients with chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and COPD

- Administer immunizations

- Perform triage duties

- Utilize strong assessment skills during brief patient interactions

- Handle both scheduled appointments and walk-in patients

- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with approximately 100 patients per day

- Collaborate with a team of 9 providers and 6 RNs per shift

- Utilize Epic Ochin electronic medical record system

- Communicate effectively with patients, including those who speak Creole or Spanish

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience

- Ambulatory care experience in a community health center setting

- Active Massachusetts State Nursing License

- Current BLS certification
