Job Description

Job Title: Primary Care Nurse

Job Location: North Carolina

Type of Facility: Rural IHS Facility

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages

- Handle general outpatient visits, including allergy shots, antibiotic administration, and IM cases

- Conduct clinical follow-ups as needed

- Manage a patient load of 8-11 cases per shift, scheduled via appointment

- Utilize the RDMS Electronic Medical Record system

- Collaborate with existing staff, including physicians and medical assistants

- Adapt to working in a rural IHS facility setting

Requirements:

- Active RN license (any state license accepted)

- 1-2 years of experience preferred (IHS experience a plus)

- BLS certification required

- PALS certification preferred but not required

- Flexibility to work in a rural setting

- Experience with pediatric and general care
