Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Job Location: Georgia
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) for 3 nights per week, likely including weekends
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Independently admit and manage ventilated patients in Pediatric ICU using Servo-U ventilators
- Set up and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures
- Provide non-invasive ventilation including BiPAP and CPAP
- Attend pre-term deliveries and manage neonatal respiratory care
- Operate Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide therapy, and high-frequency ventilation
Requirements:
- Active Georgia Respiratory Therapist license
- Minimum 2 years of NICU or PICU critical care experience
- NPS (Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Proficiency in managing complex pediatric and neonatal respiratory cases
- Experience with a wide range of ventilators and respiratory equipment
