Job Description

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Location: Kentucky

Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Early January

Work Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (likely including weekends)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform standard RRT duties in hospital setting

- Work in ED, ICU, NICU, and inpatient beds as needed

- Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analyses

- Operate equipment including Hamilton C-1 BiPAP, Airvos, and Avea Vents

- Utilize Meditech EMR system

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

- Provide respiratory care across diverse patient populations

Requirements:

- Active Kentucky RRT license

- ACLS and BLS certifications

- NRP certification (can be provided on-site if needed)

- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RT in a hospital setting

- NICU experience is a plus but not mandatory
