Job Description

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Location: Missouri

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Early May

Work Schedule: 12 hour night shifts (7p - 7:30a) for 3 nights per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Serve as the sole night shift respiratory therapist, covering both floor and ER

- Assess patients of all ages, including occasional pediatric cases

- Perform blood gas testing

- Manage patient ratios of 1-4

- Operate basic respiratory equipment, including Philips Trilogy ventilators

- Conduct nightly supply checks

- Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation

- Respond to respiratory emergencies throughout the facility

Requirements:

- Valid Missouri state License

- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
