Job Description

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Location: Montana

Type of Facility: 25-Bed Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks (with option to extend)

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM for 3 nights per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide respiratory therapy services for patients ranging from newborns to adults

- Support Labor & Delivery department several times weekly

- Perform floor therapy, assist with deliveries, and handle outpatient care

- Conduct EKGs and manage respiratory distress cases

- Operate various respiratory equipment including Hamilton ventilators, Bubble CPAP, and Hi-flow for babies

- Respond to emergencies in the ED and trauma beds as needed

Requirements:

- Active Montana Respiratory Therapy license

- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications

- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience

- Experience with Labor & Delivery preferred
