Job Description

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Location: Montana

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Mid April

Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm) for 3 days per week, rotating weekends as needed

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide respiratory care in ICU and ED settings

- Perform inpatient and outpatient procedures including EKGs, stress tests, and PFTs

- Attend high-risk deliveries as needed

- Operate Hamilton ventilators and other respiratory equipment

- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation

- Collaborate with a team of 2 respiratory therapists during weekday shifts

- Provide ED coverage as needed

- Maintain on-call availability for night shifts (7pm-7am) post-shift

- Adapt to varying patient needs across different age groups

Requirements:

- Current Montana state Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT)

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications

- Experience in critical care and emergency settings
