Job Description

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Location: Virginia

Type of Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Late March

Work Schedule: 12 hour night shifts (7p - 7a) for 3 nights per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide respiratory therapy services in various units, including bedside bronchoscopy

- Operate and maintain equipment such as PB980 vents, V60 NIV, and F&P high flow devices

- Adapt to patient care assignments based on volume

- Float to other campuses as needed

- Utilize Meditech EMR system

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced trauma center setting

- Contribute to a positive work culture and maintain a family-like atmosphere

- Participate in ongoing construction projects, including ED expansion

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

- Active Virginia state license

- BLS and RRT certifications
