Job Description

Job Title: Sleep Technologist

Job Location: California

Type of Facility: 2-bed Sleep Lab

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct overnight sleep studies for two patients per night

- Set up and operate sleep study equipment, including Natus PSG Software

- Fit patients with ResMed masks and other necessary equipment

- Monitor patients throughout the night and collect data

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during sleep studies

- Utilize Allscripts EMR for patient documentation

- Work primarily with adult patients, occasionally with adolescents (12+)

Requirements:

- RPSGT certification (Respiratory Therapists may also be considered)

- California state license

- Minimum of 1 year of sleep technology experience

- Ability to work independently
