Sleep Technologist – New York

Job Description

Job Title: Sleep Technologist-Polysomnographer

Job Location: New York

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct sleep studies for pediatric patients ages 3-18

- Gather and analyze patient information to determine testing parameters

- Prepare and calibrate sleep study equipment

- Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted standards

- Perform physiologic calibrations and PAP mask fitting

- Follow protocols for MSLT, MWT, parasomnia studies, PAP, and oxygen titration

- Monitor and document sleep stages, clinical events, and significant observations

Requirements:

- RPSGT certification

- Current New York state license

- Minimum 2 years of experience in sleep technology

- Experience with pediatric patients preferred
