Sleep Technologist – Virginia

Job Description

Job Title: Sleep Technologist

Job Location: Virginia

Type of Facility: Sleep Center

Length of Assignment: 8-26 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours total

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct overnight sleep studies for adult patients

- Manage a patient ratio of 3:1 per shift

- Perform sleep study scoring

- Operate Sandman sleep study equipment

- Collaborate with one other technologist on staff

- Ensure proper patient care and communication throughout studies

- Assist in addressing the current patient backlog

Requirements:

- Current RPSGT certification

- Valid Virginia state license

- Minimum of 1 year experience as an RPSGT

- Proficiency in sleep study scoring
