Job Description

Job Title: Social Worker

Job Location: Missouri

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Mid March 

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct face-to-face interviews with patients and families

- Participate in daily Multidisciplinary Rounds (MDRs) on each unit

- Perform InterQual reviews on every patient

- Handle Observation reviews, Discharge Planning Evaluations (DPEs), and discharge planning

- Collaborate with a diverse staff mix including RNs, Social Workers, and Certified Medical Assistants

- Utilize Meditech, Midas, and Wellsky EMR systems

- May float to any unit as needed

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience

- Active Missouri state license

- Proficiency in case management and discharge planning
