Job Description

Job Title: Social Worker

Job Location: New Mexico

Type of Facility: Inpatient Detox and Recovery Treatment Center

Length of Assignment: 13+ weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM shifts for 5 days per week with occasional weekend coverage for group therapy

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments (BPS)

- Provide individual and group therapy sessions (8-10 per day)

- Participate in midday meetings with Case Management and on-site providers for patient care

- Assist in patient intake and assessment processes

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including MDs, NPs, RNs, MAs, CNAs, and techs

- Utilize InSync EHR for documentation and patient management

- Provide treatment for patients with alcohol use disorder (AUD) and substance use disorder (SUD)

- Assist in managing patients on UV lines and those prescribed suboxone or Librium

- Adapt to working in a converted juvenile detention center facility

- Participate in weekend group therapy sessions as needed

Requirements:

- Associates degree or higher in Social Work or related field

- One of the following certifications: LSAA, LADC, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT

- Experience in detox and substance abuse treatment 

- Flexibility to cover occasional weekend shifts
