Job Description
Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Job Location: New Mexico
Type of Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to post-acute patients
- Manage a caseload of 8-10 patients daily (occasionally up to 11-12)
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
- Maintain a minimum productivity of 80%
- Deliver 30-45 minute therapy sessions per patient
- Utilize NetHealth EMR system
- Treat patients for 7-28 days depending on their post-surgical needs
- Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements:
- New Mexico SLP license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
