Job Description
Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Job Location: North Carolina
Type of Facility: Home Health
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Flexible, primarily remote with occasional in-person visits
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide early intervention services to children aged 0-3 years
- Coach families on developmental strategies and therapies
- Conduct remote supervision sessions, with occasional in-person meetings
- Perform evaluations, approximately once per month, in person
- Assist children who may have delays in crawling, walking, or other developmental milestones
- Implement weekly therapy sessions as needed
- Collaborate with families to develop and execute intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions as required
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Early Childhood Development, Special Education, or related field
- Experience in early intervention or pediatric therapy
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Willingness to travel for occasional in-person evaluations and supervision
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
