Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Location: California
Type of Facility: 250-bed Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform high-risk maternal-fetal ultrasound screenings and some diagnostic procedures
- Utilize GE equipment for all mammography screenings
- Document patient information and exam results using Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with senior technologists and permanent staff
- Adhere to hospital protocols and quality standards
- Maintain a flexible schedule, with shifts planned 3-4 weeks in advance
- Contribute to the hospital's breast cancer awareness initiatives
- Ensure proper patient care and communication throughout procedures
Requirements:
- ARDMS certification (fluoroscopy required)
- Experience in MFM and high-risk maternal-fetal ultrasound
