Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Location: Mississippi
Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital
Length of Assignment: 12 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform primarily OB ultrasound procedures, with some renal and other general ultrasound exams
- Conduct 8-12 scans per shift, working quickly and efficiently
- Operate Philips EPIQ 7G equipment
- Utilize Medhost EMR system
- Assist with diagnostic ultrasound breast exams at the women's clinic as needed
- Work collaboratively with other ultrasound technicians and medical staff
- Maintain a high level of patient care and professionalism
Requirements:
- ARDMS and BLS certifications
- OB ultrasound experience
- X-ray experience preferred
