Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Location: Missouri
Type of Facility: Community Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), Monday-Friday with rotating weekend call
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound scans, including OB, abdominal, general, and potentially some vascular exams
- Conduct approximately one exam every 45 minutes (60 minutes for Pelvic or OB Complete)
- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation
- Operate Canon ultrasound equipment
- Participate in rotating weekend call schedule (day off following call-in)
- Collaborate with healthcare team in a community hospital setting
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
- ARDMS certification
- Experience in various ultrasound modalities, especially OB, abdominal, and general
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system preferred
- Flexibility to adapt to rotating call schedule
