Job Description

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Job Location: New Hampshire

Type of Facility: Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Mid April

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, and fine needle aspirations

- Conduct soft tissue mass and lymph node biopsies

- Assist with liver and renal biopsies

- Perform drainages of abscesses, cysts, hematomas, and gallbladders

- Administer thrombin injections

- Assist in OR procedures such as breast needle placements, carotid scans, D&Cs, and prostate biopsies

- Operate Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10 ultrasound equipment

- Utilize Allscripts EMR for patient documentation

- Handle a patient load of 8-10 patients in an 8-hour shift

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care

- Adhere to all hospital policies and safety protocols


Requirements:

- Valid New Hampshire MIRT license

- RDMS certification

- BLS certification

- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
