Job Description

Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Job Location: New York

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 10-hour shifts for 4 days per week with rotating weekends, 7am-5pm or 1pm-11pm


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct planned ultrasound scans and handle emergency cases in the radiology department

- Float to bedside for OB cases as needed

- Perform approximately 15-20 scans per shift, primarily for adult women, with varying ER cases

- Operate Phillips GE Ultrasound scanner and other related equipment

- Utilize CPSI and Fuji PAX electronic medical record systems

- Work independently and collaboratively within a team of 5 technicians

- Adapt to varying patient loads between weekday and weekend shifts

- Maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism


Requirements:

- ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification

- BLS certification

- Abdomen (AB) certification preferred

- Sufficient experience to work independently

- Ability to handle a diverse range of ultrasound procedures

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends
