Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Location: South Carolina
Type of Facility: Hospital Ultrasound Department
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 PM - 6:00 AM, with on-call
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform general and vascular ultrasounds
- Conduct paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures
- Assist with thyroid biopsies
- Operate GE Logic E10 ultrasound equipment
- Utilize Meditech EMR system
- Handle an average of 35 patients daily
- Collaborate with a team of ARDMS and RVT certified sonographers
- Implement AIDET patient experience principles
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Demonstrate proficiency in arterial vascular procedures
Requirements:
- ARDMS, RVT, and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vascular and general ultrasound work
- Ability to work night shifts and on-call hours
