Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Location: Washington
Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 2p - 9p and other similar shifts from Mondays - Fridays
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound exams including abdominal, pelvic, small parts, and OB/GYN (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester)
- Conduct dating scans, anatomy scans, and biophysical profiles
- Perform venous DVT and carotid ultrasounds
- Work with both inpatients and outpatients
- Handle a patient volume of 8-15 exams per day
- Utilize Cerner EMR system and Canon I-700 portable ultrasound machine
- Adapt to varying shift schedules throughout the week
- Participate in a 2-3 week training period (duration may vary based on individual proficiency)
Requirements:
- ARDMS certification
- ABD and OB/GYN experience
- RVT (Vascular) and B (Breast) certifications preferred but not required
